Position Overview

Stratosphere Quality is actively hiring Quality Inspectors for all 3 shifts. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are flexible and dependable. Quality Inspectors perform various sorting, inspection, production, and data capture. Quality Inspectors work in partnership with our customers to contain and improve quality issues in the most efficient way possible. Stratosphere Quality’s vision is to be the Leading Global Provider of Premium Inspection and Quality Assurance Services.

Shift Availability

Candidates must be available to work one or more of the following shifts:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Shift preference may be discussed; however, flexibility is required based on business needs.

Work Schedule 

Quality Inspectors work in manufacturing plants, warehouses or other locations where our customers parts are being produced or stored. The location may vary day to day depending on the needs of our customers. Stratosphere Quality teams work collectively to ensure that we are responsive, accountable, and accurate in all aspects of our work. It’s important and our people are key to our continued success.

Quality Inspector Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Performs various sorting, inspection, production, and data entry
• Reads and follows work instructions, work rules and directions
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of work area
• Uses inspection, measuring and test equipment as required
• Completes required training classes
• Follows all employee policies and other duties as assigned

• Must be available to work 5–7 days per week (OT will be as needed, not every weekend)

• Travel may be required when work at a primary site becomes limited or shifts between locations occur

• Reliable transportation is required

Flexibility with schedule, days worked, and travel is a condition of employment.

Quality Inspector Job Qualifications & Skills

• Flexibility, dependable and adaptability
• Positive attitude, detail oriented and self-motivated
• Comfortable with varying schedules and locations
• Willing to support multiple sites as needed
• Have steel toe shoes
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, sit within a 12 hour shift
