Summary of Responsibilities

Onsite Bilingual Supplier Representative

Facilitates communications between customers.  May be assigned a full range of varied sorting, inspection- or production-related tasks as well as administrative duties or any other task in furtherance of the work or goals of Stratosphere Quality and its customers.
 
Pay Rate: $20p/h
Shift Hours: 
5:30am-4:30pm M-F with occasional weekends

 

 

Essential Job Function

Job duties included but are not limited to:

  • Conducts in-depth analysis of rejected castings to identify and differentiate defects that arise from foundry processes versus machining errors, ensuring quality excellence.
  • Works with both the foundry and customer to identify problems, determine root causes and implement corrective action
  • Sets up containment and sorting of suspect component parts
  • Reworks suspect component parts using basic hand tools and measuring instruments as needed
  • Compiles daily reports as needed
  • Facilitates and leads daily conference calls to ensure seamless communication and coordination among team members and stakeholders.
  • Adheres to quality compliance requirements
  • Demonstrates fluency in Spanish, enabling effective verbal and written translation to bridge communications and enhance collaboration in a bilingual environment.

Qualifications

Job Qualification:

 

  • A High School diploma or equivalent educational background is required for this position.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in casting, forging, and machining techniques crucial for the production of high-quality products.
  • Experience with steel castings
  • Familiarity with using hand measuring devices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks at any given time
  • Exhibits exceptional verbal and written communication skills, essential for fostering effective teamwork and ensuring quality assurance in a bilingual environment.
  • Available to work assigned hours based on customer and business needs
  • Spanish/English speaking and understanding
