Schedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift, Hours May Vary Depending on Project Needs)
Salary Range: $65,000 – $70,000 annually
Hours: 40+ Hours per Week
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet engineering drawings and specifications through in-depth analysis and collaboration.
You will also serve as a problem-solver and a liaison between the production floor, suppliers, and quality contractors.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Analyzing parts and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications and design intent
Managing the containment and disposition of suspect or non-conforming parts and units
Conducting investigations based on prior shift reports and identifying root causes
Communicating with suppliers to report quality issues and request corrective action
Directing sorting contractors and overseeing rework/inspection processes
Monitoring quality issue containment efforts and validating effectiveness daily
Driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering innovation within the team

Preferred qualifications and skills:
Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
Proficient with measurement tools and inspection techniques
Understanding of ISO-9001 and/or IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems
Familiarity with mechanical and electro-mechanical manufacturing processes
Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ASQ Certified Auditor
Experience in a variety of manufacturing processes or mass assembly operations
ISO based quality management system, Lead Internal auditor experience
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
